My Little Miracle

Blake had a awesome day today. They took him off the oxygen so the only thing that he is hooked up to is a small feeding tube. He is so much more restful now that he is free from all the tubes/wires/IV. He just keeps getting cuter by the minute.

I got to put Blake to the breast today at his 3pm feeding. Didn't go very well, but I wasn't expecting it to go perfect the first time. He did much better at the 6pm feeding and actually latched on and sucked for a good couple of minutes and then fell asleep. So we will just have to take baby steps as both of us learn how to breastfeed successful. I'm going to have the lactation consultant come in right away Monday to help us.
